Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Learning and Development Manager with a CPA qualification to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, coupled with a proven track record in designing and implementing effective learning and development programs. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple lines of businesses and driving employee development initiatives to enhance skills, knowledge, and overall performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Learning Strategies: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the learning needs of each line of business and create comprehensive learning strategies that align with the company's objectives and employee development goals.
  • Learning Program Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement a variety of training programs, workshops, and learning experiences that cater to the specific needs of different departments and business units. Ensure that the programs are engaging, interactive, and yield measurable results.
  • Financial and Accounting Expertise: Leverage your CPA qualification and expertise in financial and accounting principles to create specialized training content for finance and accounting teams. Help employees enhance their knowledge and skills in areas such as financial reporting, tax regulations, auditing, budgeting, etc.
  • Manage Training Delivery: Oversee the delivery of learning programs, whether conducted internally, through external vendors, or via e-learning platforms. Monitor training sessions, provide feedback to trainers, and make necessary improvements to ensure high-quality training experiences.
  • Talent Development: Identify high-potential employees and work with department heads to develop individualized development plans that address skill gaps and career growth aspirations.
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with HR and leadership to integrate learning and development initiatives into the company's performance management system. Track employee progress, measure the effectiveness of training programs, and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  • Stay Abreast of Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in accounting, finance, and learning and development fields. Incorporate relevant best practices, trends, and technologies into the training programs to maintain their relevance and effectiveness.
  • Budgeting and Resource Management: Develop and manage the learning and development budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources while delivering high-quality programs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR, department heads, and senior management, to understand business needs and align learning initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Training: Ensure that employees receive appropriate training on regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines, and compliance procedures applicable to their roles.

Requirements:

  • CPA qualification is essential, with a strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering effective learning and development programs for multiple lines of businesses.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and related topics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in talent development, performance management, and career progression planning is preferred.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is a plus.
