Manager (Learning and Development IN)

Position Overview: As the Learning and Development Manager, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing learning and development programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and experience in creating impactful training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development:
    • Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs.
    • Design, develop, and implement training programs that align with organizational goals and enhance employee skills.
  2. Onboarding and Orientation:
    • Develop and manage onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated seamlessly into the organization.
    • Facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company culture, policies, and procedures.
  3. Leadership Development:
    • Design and implement leadership development programs to nurture and develop leadership skills within the organization.
    • Provide coaching and support to leaders in their professional development.
  4. Skill Enhancement Workshops:
    • Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to address specific skill gaps and promote continuous learning.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessment tools.
  5. Learning Technology Management:
    • Stay abreast of learning technologies and recommend tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of training initiatives.
    • Oversee the implementation and management of learning management systems (LMS).
  6. Performance Management Support:
    • Collaborate with HR to integrate learning and development initiatives into the performance management process.
    • Support managers in identifying and addressing performance gaps through targeted training interventions.
  7. Employee Engagement:
    • Develop strategies to promote a culture of learning and professional development.
    • Implement initiatives to measure and improve employee engagement related to learning and development activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in learning and development, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
