Position Overview: As the Learning and Development Manager, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing learning and development programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and experience in creating impactful training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development:
- Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs.
- Design, develop, and implement training programs that align with organizational goals and enhance employee skills.
- Onboarding and Orientation:
- Develop and manage onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated seamlessly into the organization.
- Facilitate orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company culture, policies, and procedures.
- Leadership Development:
- Design and implement leadership development programs to nurture and develop leadership skills within the organization.
- Provide coaching and support to leaders in their professional development.
- Skill Enhancement Workshops:
- Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to address specific skill gaps and promote continuous learning.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessment tools.
- Learning Technology Management:
- Stay abreast of learning technologies and recommend tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Oversee the implementation and management of learning management systems (LMS).
- Performance Management Support:
- Collaborate with HR to integrate learning and development initiatives into the performance management process.
- Support managers in identifying and addressing performance gaps through targeted training interventions.
- Employee Engagement:
- Develop strategies to promote a culture of learning and professional development.
- Implement initiatives to measure and improve employee engagement related to learning and development activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in learning and development, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
