Manager - Audit & Assurance(EBP Audit IN)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated EBP (Employee Benefit Plan) Audit Manager to join our organization. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in auditing Employee Benefit Plans, demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Audit Planning and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive audit plans for Employee Benefit Plans, considering risk assessments and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead and execute audits in accordance with established audit methodologies and standards.
    • Ensure timely completion of audit engagements while maintaining high-quality standards.
  2. Client Management:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients undergoing EBP audits.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and addressing client needs.
  3. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay abreast of changes in regulations and accounting standards related to Employee Benefit Plans.
    • Ensure that audits are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Supervise, mentor, and guide audit team members to foster professional development.
    • Provide technical expertise and support to team members during audits.
  5. Financial Reporting:
    • Review and analyze financial statements and related disclosures for accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards in audit services.
    • Conduct internal reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is required.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in auditing, with a focus on EBP audits.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Familiarity with accounting and auditing software tools.
  4. Communication Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex audit findings to clients and team members.
  5. Leadership and Management:
    • Proven experience in leading and managing audit teams.
