Vice President (Operations IN)

Position Overview: The Vice President of Operations will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, with a focus on managing a large team of over 2000 employees. The ideal candidate will possess a CA qualification and have extensive experience in the KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) sector, particularly within the accounting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Leadership:
    • Provide strategic leadership to the operations team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  2. Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a large operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  4. Client Relationship Management:
    • Collaborate with client services teams to understand client expectations and ensure service delivery meets or exceeds those expectations.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a key point of contact for operational matters.
  5. Financial Management:
    • Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets and control costs within the operations department.
    • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process efficiency.
  6. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
    • Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing controls as necessary.
  7. Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall strategic plan.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on operational enhancements and business growth opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a KPO, with a focus on the accounting industry.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
