Assistant Manager - Accounting & Advisory(Business Valuation IN)

As a Business Valuation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with clients to define assignment purposes and scopes. You'll be responsible for overseeing all valuation operations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and managing fluctuating work hours based on client needs and deadlines. Your role will involve collaborating with firm professionals to gather financial data, conducting comprehensive company research, industry analysis, and employing various valuation approaches.

 What You Will Do:

  • Manage fluctuating work hours based on client needs and deadlines
  • Oversee all valuation operations, ensuring timely completion and compliance with relevant standards
  • Interact with and build relationships with clients
  • Collaborate with firm professionals to gather client financial data for valuations
  • Expand knowledge in different areas of business valuation theory to better serve clients
  • Assist in planning and determining the purpose of business valuations
  • Conduct company research and industry analysis
  • Undertake comparable company and transaction analyses
  • Build DCF models and develop CAPMs and WACCs
  • Assess and monitor financial market databases
  • Draft business valuation reports, including independent expert reports
  • All other tasks as assigned

What You Will Bring: 

  • 2-6 years of direct experience in business valuation
  • Proficiency in financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with BV database tools
  • Knowledge of software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Analytical skills with close attention to details
  • Ability to meet deadlines and find solutions to problems

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA, ABV, CVA, and/or ASA certification is a plus
